CPOs’ charging infrastructure in Europe - September overview

CPOs’ charging infrastructure in Europe - September overview

September is a busy month, when most of EV charging ecosystem’s players use to attend the Intercharge Network Conference (ICNC) 2024 in Berlin to discuss latest news about the sector, and make differents actions for the World EV Day or the European Mobility Week.

Furthermore, some important milestones have been achieved and announced this month, such as Driveco and Electra being ranked among the top 251 startups in Europe on the Leading European Tech Scaleups map; the opening of the 4,000th IONITY high-powered charging point; or Powerdot joining 2024 France Digitale’s prestigious Leading European Tech Scale-Ups Index. Plug & Charge Allego’s technology based on OCPP 2.0.1 protocol will be tried in Q4 by their Netherlands and Germany networks, eliminating the need for RIFD cards, mobile apps and bank cards.

The current state of Europe’s energy grids and the future of EV charging infrastructure are on the top of mind of the sector’s stakeholders and EV drivers. Let’s have a look at the most recent news from CPOs in Europe.
